Super foods are the foods that contains the high volume of nutrients. Tomatoes, kale, kelp, blueberries are known as super foods as are having many health benefits. By intake super foods, helps to make a super diet, a diet which gives us vitamins, fiber, zinc, copper and many more nutrients. In fact, there are no criteria not define the super foods. Foods that contains high level of antioxidants are super foods which prevent heart diseases, cancer and improve immunity power. A high consumption of vegetables and fruits are associate with a low risk of lifestyle related health diseases. The nutrients in super foods helps us to improve immune power and also maintain a healthy weight.

The some super foods are:


Berries: The flavoring in berries have been shown the low risk of a heart attack. A few berries are blueberries, raspberries and cranberries. Blueberries contains high volume of fiber, manganese and vitamin K. Blueberries also helps to lower the risk of urinary infection.

Leafy greens: Leafy greens is known as super foods like kale, spinach, beet greens etc. This foods contains the vitamin A, K, E, C and B in high volume. Leafy greens also contains iron, potassium and calcium. Kale and other leafy greens are also contains fiber and water content, both fiber and water prevent constipation.

Pulses: Pulses also  known as super foods as it contains vitamin B, minerals, protein and fiber. Research shows that pulses also reduces the type-2 diabetes and blood pressure. Pulsed also protects from the chronic diseases and helps in weight loss.

Garlic: Garlic is also a super food as it contains the vitamin C, vitamin B6 and fiber. Garlic is also used in medicinal benefits. Garlic also reduces the chance of cholesterol and high blood pressure and provide the good immune system. Garlic contains the sulfur compounds which helps us to protect from the chances of cancer.

Turmeric: Turmeric is in yellow color spice found in India. It is used in cooking and in medicinal benefits. Turmeric also contains the antioxidants. Watermelon: Watermelon contains around 90% water and contains vitamin A, B6 and C, antioxidants and amino acids. Watermelon prevents us from cancer. Watermelon also reduces the chances of heart attack and reducing blood pressure and cholesterol. It also contains vitamins A and C which is important for skin health. Spinach also contains an antioxidants which lower the glucose in body helps to reduce the blood sugar level. Spinach also contains beta-carotene, which reduces the chances of asthma. Vitamin K is a necessary intake for bone health and spinach is a good source for vitamin K which improves calcium absorption and reduce the amount of calcium passes through the urine.

These essentials items are easily available in nature and human should intake these super foods to be healthy and to live long. We can’t imagine the good and healthy life without the super foods. Many studies has prove and there is no excuse to avoid super foods. We must follow good diet and eat as much as possible super foods to be healthy and keep away from series chronic diseases. It is well known that human always looks for taste and super foods are also very tasty essentials for body.
