In a move to improve the secondary in 2013 the Oakland Raiders have announced the signing of veteran cornerback Tracy Porter.

During the 2012 season he was limited to just six games with division rival the Denver Broncos  due to various health issues, the 26-year old attempts to revive his career with a one-year deal.

The good news is that he will start opposite Phillip Adams in the secondary. He fits well in the Raiders  scheme and is a capable right corner and also can play slot in nickel formations. In his career he has made 43 starts and has recorded 215 tackles, eight interceptions to go along with four force fumbles

In Oakland, Porter will reunite with Dennis Allen, who was his position coach in New Orleans, where the two won a Super Bowl.
