PASADENA- The Oregon Ducks continue to fly high into the end zone. Quarterback and 2014 Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota faces a tough test as he needs to lead the flock against the defending national champion Florida State’s prolific offense.

Mariota is going against a defense that struggled all season.

Oregon’s defense struggled too. Oregon ranks 49th in rush defense giving up 153.9 yards per game and 96th in total defense giving up  259.5 yards per game.

The Ducks defense will not be a huge factor in this game. Jameis Winston will not allow the 81st ranked total defense to decimate him and the Seminoles highly touted offense. It simply isn’t going to happen.

This game will be decided by the offenses. The ducks rank 22nd is rush offense averaging 237.3 yards per game and 11th in pass offense averaging 308.9 per game.

Oregon annihilated the previously ranked 7th Arizona Wildcats in the Pac-12 Championship 51-13.

Ducks offense can’t be stopped

The Ducks scored 24 points against the Wildcats on October 2nd when they lost their only game of the season 31-24. The Ducks score at least 24 points in every game this season.

Oregon scored 62 points against San Diego State to start the season with a 62-13 win.
