After shocking the NFL in trading for Tyrod Taylor and Pro Bowl wideout Jarvis Landry, could the Cleveland Browns open up free agency with a proverbial bang in landing Allen Robinson?

Robinson, who the Jacksonville Jaguars recently decided to not apply the franchise tag to is set to hit the free agent market as one of the most in-demand wideouts after catching a combined 153 passes for 2,283 yards and 20 touchdowns in in 2015 and 2016 before suffering a season-ending ACL injury on his first reception of 2017 vs. the Houston Texans.

At 6’3 and a solid 211 pounds, the 24-year-old former Penn State standout is widely regarded as one of the best young players in the NFL. With teams such as the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers rumored to be interested in his services, could the suddenly-revamped Browns be an option?

Armed with $77.9 in salary cap space—once the Landry and Taylor deals are finalized—adding a player of the burgeoning pedigree of Robinson would be the cherry on top of the Browns proverbial free agency cake.

Considering the aggressive nature of new Browns general manager John Dorsey so far, he sees what many in Dawg Pound Nation see:

A potentially deadly and potent 2018 Browns offense that will have:

WR1: Josh Gordon

WR2: Allen Robinson

WR3: Jarvis Landry

TE: David Njoku

QB: Tyrod Taylor

RB: Saquon Barkley(??)/Duke Johnson

A team with money to spend, that had cap space to spare five picks in the top 65 at No.1, 4, 33, 35 and 64, that just added some serious talent in a three-time Pro Bowl WR in Landry and QB in Taylor and will likely outbid others with the exception of the New York Jets, what’s not to like?

Clearly, the ball is in Robinson’s court now.
