Aaron Rodgers is widely considered to be the best quarterback in the NFL and many believe that he will go down as one of the best of all-time. Some will even go so far as to say that he has earned the title of the greatest NFL quarterback of all-time, although he still has some work to do to get there by most standards.

That being said, a major milestone finally happened for Rodgers in the Green Bay Packers’ 27-24 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3. Rodgers won his first career overtime game. That’s right, Rodgers had never won an overtime game until this week, going 0-7 in his first seven opportunities.

Not only did he win his first overtime game, he also has now defeated every single NFL team, other than the Packers, of course. Cincinnati was the only team that he had yet to defeat in his career.

Green Bay looked shaky early on in this week’s game, trailing the Bengals 21-7 at one point in the game. Rodgers was not about to let his team drop their second straight game, however, and put on a show in the second half. He ended the game with 313 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.

Early on this season, Rodgers has looked a bit sluggish from his normal self. He has already thrown three interceptions, which shouldn’t be too much of a concern.

Needless to say, his overall performance overshadowed the pick-six interception that he threw in the first half. He may be pressing the issue a bit early on this season, but Rodgers is not regressing. Rodgers is still a top-notch MVP candidate and his other stats are impressive early on in the season.

All of that being said, the Packers once again look like a team to keep an eye on in the NFC. They are finding ways to win despite slow starts and the offense looks to be getting off to a hot start. Green Bay is dealing with some injuries that could slow them down a bit, but Rodgers is making it clear that he will not allow his team to lose to inferior teams.
