With week one of the NFL season in the books, here is the InscriberMag’s AFC South Week One Roundup.

Broncos Outlast Colts, 31-24: Thanks to three touchdowns from Peyton Manning, the Denver Broncos(1-0) held off the Indianapolis Colts(0-1), 31-24 Sunday.  Down 24-7 at halftime, the Colts scored 17 second-half points thanks to Colts quarterback Andrew Luck’s two touchdowns and 370 yards passing.

Texans Beat Redskins, 17-6, No.1 Pick LB Jadeveon Clowney Injured: In a game that will be remembered more for top overall pick Jadeveon Clowney getting injured, the Houston Texans defeated the Washington Redskins, 17-6.

Clowney, the top overall pick out of South Carolina in the 2014 NFL Draft, suffered a knee injury in the first half, finished with a tackle for loss. All Pro wideout Andre Johnson caught six passes for 93 yards, running back Arien Foster rushed for 103 yards on 27 carries and quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 14-of-22 passes for 206 yards and one touchdown.

Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III completed 29-of-37 passes for 267 yards.

Titans Upset Chiefs at Arrowhead, 26-10:  New coach, new system, new Jake Locker?

Locker, a former first-round pick of Washington, completed 22-of-33 passes for 266 yards, threw two touchdowns and no interceptions in a Tennessee Titans(1-0) 26-10 win over the Kansas City Chiefs(0-1). First-year head coach, Ken Whisenhunt appears to have tapped into the former Washington Huskies talent in allowing Locker the freedom to throw more downfield, as shown in his 8.1 yards per completion.

Kansas City, a playoff team from last year, appeared slow and sluggish in coming out flat in their home opener, as newly extended quarterback, Alex Smith—who signed a four-year, $68 million extension—completed 19-of-35 passes for 202 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions.

Eagles Rally from 17-Point Deficit, Beat Jaguars, 34-17: After going up 17-0 on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles(1-0), the Jacksonville Jaguars(0-1) ran out of gas in the second half.

Eagles quarterback Nick Foles threw for 322 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in leading a 34-point second-half barrage to shell-shock Jacksonville, 34-17.  Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne completed 24-of-43 passes for 266 yards, two touchdowns and undrafted rookie free agent Allen Hurns caught four passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns.
