With week two of the NFL season in the books, here is the InscriberMag’s AFC South Week One Roundup.

Texans DE J.J. Watt Catches TD in Texans 30-14 Win Over Raiders:  Thanks to a one-yard touchdown reception from defensive end, J.J. Watt and 138 yards rushing from Arian Foster, the Houston Texans (2-0) defeated the Oakland Raiders (0-2) Sunday.

After going 2-14 last year, the surprising Texans have already matched their win total from last year.

Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 14-of-19 for 139 yards and two touchdowns.

Cowboys DeMarco Murray Rushes For  167 Yards and One Touchdown In 26-10 Win over Titans: Thanks to a 167-yard, one touchdown performance from DeMarco Murray, the Dallas Cowboys(1-1) avoided an 0-2 start and defeated the Tennessee Titans (1-1), 26-10 Sunday.

The much-beleaguered Cowboys defense was able to harass Titans quarterback Jake Locker all day in sacking and intercepting him twice.

Locker would finish the day by going 18-of-34 for 234 yards passing and one touchdown.

RGIII Injured, Cousins Leads Redskins to 41-10 Romp Over Jaguars:  In a game in which Robert Griffin III would injure his ankle, backup quarterback, Kirk Cousins would come off the bench to throw for 250 yards and two touchdowns in a Washington Redskins (1-1) romp over the Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2).

Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne would complete 14-of-28 passes for 193 yards, one touchdown and one interception.  Second-round pick, Allen Robinson out of Penn State caught four passes for 75 yards.

Eagles Rally Late, Stun Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts, 30-27: After trailing 17-6 at halftime, Philadelphia Eagles(2-0) quarterback Nick Foles showed why he is one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL in leading the Eagles to a 30-27 win over the Indianapolis Colts (0-2).

The Colts, trying to recover from a late defeat at the hands of the Denver Broncos, lost consecutive games for the first time in Andrew Luck’s three-year career.

For the game, Luck completed 20-of-34 passes for 172 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Former first-round pick, Trent Richardson had his best game as a Colt in rushing for 79 yards on 20 carries.

  1. Houston Texans: 2-0
  2. Tennessee Titans: 1-1
  3. Indianapolis Colts: 0-2
  4. Jacksonville Jaguars: 0-2
