While the College Football championship games have come and go, there are two teams in College Football who still have a marquee game. On Saturday, December 10,2016 from M&T Bank Stadium down in Baltimore, Maryland, we get another installment of the one of the bigger rivalries in College Football. It is the annual Army vs. Navy as the two branches of the military have a friendly battle on the field. This rivalry began on November 29,1890 and has been going on. There have been exactly 118 battles between the two schools with Navy leading the all-time record at 60-49-7. It became a annual meeting as of 1899 and was not held in 1909, 1917,1918,and 1929. It should also be mentioned that Navy has not loss their last fourteen times they have faced Army in this annual game.

Let us first look at the Army Black Knights. They are coming into this game with a record of 6-5 and stand in third place in the independent league. In their last game which happened to be a few weeks ago, they ended up having a rather lopsided victory over Morgan State by the score of 60-3. One thing that the Black Knights were able to do very well in was they were able to out rush Morgan State 504 to 28. I have always been a person who is a believer in that if you are able to out rush a team as much as the Black Knights did, then you shouldn’t have a problem winning. If the Black Knights are able to do this on Saturday agianst Navy, then they should have no problem with winning the game.

On the other side, you have the Navy Midshipmen. They are coming into this game with a record of 9-3 and in first place in the American Conference. However, the Midshipman are coming into this game coming off a loss to Temple by the score of 34-10. Prior to that loss, the Midshipman won four straight games in a row. Pretty much, Navy just needs to do what they have done over the last fourteen times and they should have no problem winning.
