Baltimore Ravens defense heavy
My opinion and analysis on the selections in Day One and Two for the Baltimore Ravens in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Conclusion

I think the focus was toward defense because they do not want the collapse of defense from last year to happen again. While the Ravens defense was great, injuries set it back and cost them games. With their selections, the Ravens defense can have the depth and have the star power to be a top 5 defense in the league.

I think the Baltimore Ravens did not want to take medical risks with Jonathan Allen and Reuben Foster. And O.J. Howard would have made the tight end position too cluttered while they have starters on the roster.

The offense was mediocre last year and still won enough games to barely miss the playoffs last year. Also, the Afc North division rivals added some offensive weapons so these defensive picks could be counter moves to that. The selections of Humphrey, Bowser, Wormley, and Williams drastically improve the defense. Here are links to their highlights above.

I think the Baltimore Ravens target offense in Day 3; including wide receiver, offensive line, and running back. I would look for a receiver early, then an offensive tackle or center most likely. If the Ravens take enough offensive players on day 3, I would be satisfied with this draft.
