BREAKING: Celtics Agree In Principle To Trade PG Rajon Rondo To Mavericks


According to league sources, the Boston Celtics have agreed to a trade sending All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo to the Dallas Mavericks.

Per ESPN.com, the Celtics will send the one-time NBA champion and former Kentucky Wildcat to Dallas for Brandan Wright, Jae Crowder, Jameer Nelson and a future first and second round pick. Other players may be included once the deal is finalized.

Rondo, in the last year of his current contract, intends to test the free agent market in June, averaged 8.3 points and 10.8 assists for the Celtics.
