According to Variety, Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning actor, Robin Williams was found dead of an apparent suicide Monday around noon.
Williams, 63, was found dead and the reported cause is suicide by asphyxiation, per the coroner’s office in Tiburon, CA. Best known for roles in Good Will Hunting, Mork and Mindy and Mrs. Doubtfire, Williams’ recent CBS sitcom, The Crazy Ones with Sarah Michelle Gellar got cancelled in May.
A renowned standup comedian, film and television actor, Williams has influenced present-day comedians and actors such as Eddie Murphy, Conan O’Brien and Frank Caliendo.
