Canada’s Wonderland is one of the most popular attractions in all of Canada. The theme park, which sits just outside of Toronto, is home to two amazing roller coasters, Leviathan and Behemoth, both of which need to be experienced by every coaster enthusiast.

When you visit Canada’s Wonderland, you’ll see both Leviathan and Behemoth instantly, as the two coasters tower over the park.Similar to other Cedar Fair rides such as Fury 325 at Carowinds and Gatekeeper at Cedar Point, Leviathan will zoom past you before you even enter Canada’s Wonderland, giving you an early impression of the rides intense nature.

At a top speed of 92 mph and height of 300 feet, Leviathan is the fastest, and tallest, coaster in all of Canada. In 2015, it ranked as the eight tallest and fastest coaster in all of the world. And while it’s been overshadowed by other coasters in recent years, Leviathan is still one of the best rides in all of the world.

If Leviathan wasn’t enough to thrill for you, then maybe Behemoth will get your blood going. Before Leviathan, Behemoth was the tallest and fastest coaster in all of Canada. However, that doesn’t mean that it can’t stack up to its Canada’s Wonderland partner.

Behemoth is known as hyper-coaster, one that exceeds 200 ft. And while that might not go above Leviathan’s Giga-coaster status, it still packs a major punch. The one major difference to Behemoth and Leviathan is Behemoth’s seating system. Similar to Diamondback at Kings Island and Intimidator at Carowinds, the cars are laid out in a V-shaped pattern, ensuring each rider gets an unobstructed view of all track and surrounding area. The finale is also a star attraction, an incredible helix pair which is a great ending to a great ride.

There aren’t many coasters that take your breath away. However, Leviathan and Behemoth are two very good rides that do just that. It’s hard to say if Leviathan is a better Giga-coaster than Millennium Force at Cedar Point, and calling Behemoth the best hyper-coaster might be a stretch. But both are an experience that you’ll never forget, and that’s all that matters with a coaster.
