The Washington Redskins are hosting the Carolina Panthers in the week 15 NFL finale on Monday night. All the information to tune into this game is listed below.

The Washington Redskins bounced back with a critical win against the Philadelphia Eagles in week 14. Can they stay the course against the defending NFC Champions and reigning MVP? They got some help Sunday and with a win can get back into the playoff picture. Here are 3 keys for a Redskins victory against the Panthers.

Balance the offense.

You know that the Washington Redskins are going to throw the football. They have one of the best passing offenses in the league at this point of the season. They are currently ranked second in the league with 303 yards per game average. However, going into this week they need to get after the run game. I know that Carolina is ranked 32 in pass defense going into the game, but the Redskins cannot rely solely on the pass. They need to get Rob Kelley involved early and often. Soften up the front of the Panthers and then get after their weak cornerbacks through the air. Make the Panthers defense bow to a superior offense.

Keep Cam in the pocket

Cam Newton has never been known as a very accurate passer while he is in the pocket. If there is any game in which a lack of pass rush is actually a key, Monday night is the night. Letting Cam extend plays with his feet is going to be tough on the Washington Redskins secondary. Cam is one of the most accurate passers when he is on the run. Containing him to the pocket is going to be more than helpful to the Redskins defense. The Redskins currently rank 24th in the league against the pass. For some reason, though, I feel that this is not going to be an issue on the outside Monday. The bigger issue will be stopping TE Greg Olson, but with Newton in the pocket, he could be neutralized.

TDs, TDs, TDs!!

The Washington Redskins need to score. When I mean score they need to get TDs and not FGs. The Redskins are the 14th ranked NFL team when it comes to scoring TDs. With the weapons on this offense, only averaging 2.8 TDs per game is a low output. There needs to be an onus put on putting the ball past the goal line. The Redskins are top 10 in scoring offense but that stat is a little misleading when it comes to this offense. Their red zone troubles are evident in this statistic. The extra day of practice needs to lead to more TDs. Show the primetime crowd that you are ready to play the big game.

The Washington Redskins need to be balanced and put the ball in the end zone. They now control their own destiny again. Win 3 and you are in. Anything can happen when you get in the tournament. Make Monday night a statement game!! ALWAYS HTTR!!!!
