Can someone please explain to me how the Chicago Bears have gotten into a prime time slot for a second straight week? Last week the Bears were on Monday Night Football, where they lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 29-14. The 0-2 club now finds themselves in the Sunday Night game against another NFC East opponent in the form of the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys took care of the Washington Redskins by a score of 27-23 on the road last week.

The Bears will be without their quarterback in this one, as Jay Cutler is out with an injury. That means Brian Hoyer will get the start. Now Hoyer did manage to complete nine of 12 pass attempts last week, but only for 78 yards. That type of play likely is not going to be enough for the team to pull out its first win of the season, especially on the road.

As for the Cowboys, they have been a mixed bag this season. At times they want to look excellent. At other times, they want to look dreadful. So where exactly do they stand this season? Well, rookie Ezekiel Elliott showed some serious potential last week, and this may be the week he finally steps up to the big stage. Dez Bryant should have no problems taking on the Bears secondary, and could be in line for a big game.

The question to ask now is, are the Cowboys more than a touchdown better than Chicago? Their inconsistency makes me question it, and I find it hard to lay seven with the team. But there is simply nothing about the Bears that appeals to me, so I am reluctantly going to go with Dallas here.
