Talk about a game that is going to feature two teams that you would not want to bet on in most weeks. The 1-3 Chicago Bears will head to Indy to take on the Indianapolis Colts in this fifth week of the NFL season. The Bears are coming off a victory at home against the Detroit Lions, despite having their backup quarterback under center. Meanwhile, the Colts are coming back from a London trip, with an another L in the loss column. That could not have been a pleasant flight home.

As for the Bears, there quarterback situation for the week is still fluid. Brian Hoyer played pretty well a week ago, but it was against the Lions poor defense. As a result, there is talk that he may hold onto the job even when Jay Cutler is healthy, which may or may not be this week. So more than likely, the team will be rolling with Hoyer in Indy. But the end of that sentence is key. Specifically the phrase “in Indy.” The team is currently 0-2 on the road this season. Granted, they also lost a game at home and won last week because they got to face the Lions.

Their opponents are not exactly any better. The Colts are off to a pretty shaky start to the season. They lost a total shootout to the Lions, at home, in week one, as their defense was non-existent. Week two they went into Denver, and once again, no defense was present.

They were finally able to pull out a win in week three, at home, but it was to the crap team that is the San Diego Chargers. Last week they went across the pond, without any defense as usual, and lost to the Jaguars, who had been without a win.

The team has its issues on offense as well. So while I do not like the Bears by any means, I simply cannot lay 4.5 points with Indy. Their lone win was by four points. At least for the Bears, they won with Hoyer under center and Jordan Howard in the backfield. I will rely on that combo this week, getting the points.
