The NBA season will be underway in less than a month with the start of Training Camp starting at the end of September. The Cleveland Cavaliers roster will mainly be intact as they gear up for a repeat performance from last 2015. There are many questions that will surround the Cavs all season but with the start of camp, let’s dive into what the Cavs must make clear before their season opener.

Will The Cavs Move Kevin Love?

Rumors are swirling that the Cavs may be in the market to let Kevin Love go. One of the teams of interest are the Sacramento Kings for DeMarcus Cousins. Let’s be honest here. Love is not the player they thought they were getting two seasons ago. He missed the playoffs his first year and his second, he under-performed so poorly that there were whispers he could be benched. Personally, I think they should move him, it will open up the door to better possibilities and lineup situations. Love does not fit. Cousins will fit or either get a Center and switch Thompson back to PF.

The Health Of LeBron James

Don’t cry, James is not hurt but he has the most tired legs in the NBA heading into this season. James has been to six straight NBA Finals and despite what some may think about athletes, they do tire down. What will HC, Tyronn Lue do with his star player? Does he begin to take the Gregg Popovich approach and rest James on back-to-backs? If the Cavs are looking to make it three straight appearances then the health of James is of most importance.

How Will The Bench Play Out?

For as good as the Cavs starters are they rely heavy on their bench for production and this season they may expect more than usual. With Delly gone, PG duties will fall to the veteran Mo Williams. Channing Frye is still there to provide hustle points and Iman Shumpert (if he can resolve his legal issues) is still onboard.  One of the steals of the offseason was getting the services of veteran SF, Mike Dunleavy. With LeBron possibly sitting out some games, Dunleavy will be able to slide into the starting role and provide at least 15 points per game.
