South Region – Memphis

1 UNC
16 NCCU/New Orleans

8 Oklahoma State
9 Northwestern

5 Wisconsin
12 Vermont

4 Kentucky
13 Valparasio

6 Saint Mary’s
11 Michigan State/Georgia Tech

3 UCLA
14 Princeton

7 Xavier
10 Miami

2 Baylor
15 Nevada

Many people are taking the easy route and just putting Baylor in as the last one. But I am sorry, I just do not like what I have seen from them recently. Meanwhile, UNC dominated a good Virginia team this weekend, earning them the last slot on the one line. Baylor comes in as the top two, staking their claim in the bottom of this region. Michigan State is in a freefall, and with Eron Harris done for the year, I think they may miss out completely. Georgia Tech sneaks in as the last team thanks to their win over Syracuse this weekend. Another note from this region, look out for Vermont, who would give Wisconsin a very good run for their money.

First and second round locations: 1/16 and 8/9 (Greenville), 5/12 and 4/13 (Milwaukee), 6/11 and 3/14 (Sacramento), 7/10 and 2/15 (Tulsa)
