Per the Jacksonville Jaguars, both running back Corey Grant and tight end Ben Koyack signed a tender offer that mean they are officially on the Jaguars’ roster as the 2018 League Year begins.

It means both will be on the team’s roster in 2018. Koyack caught the game-winning touchdown in the Jaguars’ 10-3 win over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Wild Card game last year. Grant was an integral part of the special teams unit and was a big reason the team was able to stay ahead of the New England Patriots in the first half of the AFC Championship game the Jacksonville Jaguars eventually lost 24-20.

Per the story on Jaguars.com, Grant, a fourth-year running back, had been a restricted free agent until signing the offer. That meant a team could have signed him to an offer sheet, with the Jaguars having a chance to match the offer.

Koyack, a third-year tight end, signed an exclusive rights tender that also assures he will be on the roster. As an ERFA, Koyack this offseason did not have the right to negotiate with other teams.

With the release of running back Chris Ivory, Grant figures to get more carries out of the Jacksonville Jaguars backfield. He, Leonard Fournette and TJ Yeldon will lead a running game that led the NFL last season.

Grant, who was an undrafted free agent who signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2015 out of Auburn, rushed for 248 yards on 30 carries and two touchdowns last season. He has rushed for 414 yards and three touchdowns on 68 career carries.

Koyack has 24 career catches for 199 yards and one touchdown. He was originally drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars out of Notre Dame in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He figures to be part of a tight end group that now includes Charles O’Shaughnessy and Austin Seferan-Jenkins.
