There is a lot of hope for fans of the Dallas Cowboys. In a year that there was little expectations because they were forced to put in Dak Prescott and Ezekial Elliot who were both rookies who were drafted in the 2015 draft. After a little shakeup at the beginning of the season with a one-point loss to the New York Giants, the Cowboys have put together eight wins in a row and are pretty much one of the teams to beat in the NFC. When it was announced that the Cowboys were going to start Dak after Tony Romo got injured, people did not expect anything magical from Dallas.

As a fan of football, I feel now the Cowboys can not be taken as a joke or a fluke and are the real deal after they had a pretty convincing win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. I was looking ahead at the remainder of the Cowboys schedule to see if there could be any bumps in the road to the playoffs for the Cowboys. The remainder of the season for the Cowboys goes like this; they play the Ravens, Redskins, Vikings, Giants, Buccaneers, and Lions to wrap up the season. Those teams mentioned have a combined record of 29-23-1. I would first like to mention how every one of these teams has flaws and are all beatable.

Truthfully, I could see the Cowboys winning out and going 15-1. None of the teams I mentioned were tough and are all beatable. The way the Cowboys are playing now makes it a nice future for America’s team as I don’t figure they will lift their foot off the pedal. I figure since there was little to no expectations for Dak Prescott, I see him having a huge chip on his shoulder.

The only thing I am concerned about with the Cowboys is once they make the playoffs because anything can happen and over my life I have seen the mighty fall. However, that is not for another couple of weeks, and all I say to Cowboys fans is enjoy what you have now, you found a diamond in rough.
