Last week the Denver Broncos continued their surprise success in 2016. I say surprised because few people thought the Broncos would be as good as they have been through 4 games. Next up is a home against the best offense in the NFL and the Atlanta Falcons. Can the Broncos stay undefeated? Here are three ways they can.

Protect Trevor Siemian

The offensive line of the Denver Broncos was an issue in 2015. So far in 2016, the Broncos o-line has been fairly stable. There has been little to no pressure on Siemian. Even last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Paxton Lynch faced very little pressure. The offensive line needs to continue this success. This will help the Broncos continue their success in 2016.

Pressure Matt Ryan

The vaunted Denver Broncos defense is known for the pressure that it puts on opposing QBs. Matt Ryan is not a very mobile QB. If the Broncos can pressure from the middle, they should be able to force Ryan into some mistakes. Having pressure from the middle would also give Von Miller open range on the outside. Matt Ryan is known to force the ball at times, and that is with no pressure. Just imagine what the pressure that the Broncos can create will bring.

Take advantage of a weak pass defense

The Atlanta Falcons are 31st in the NFL in pass defense. This plays right into the hands of Gary Kubiak and the Denver Broncos. The Broncos, will, of course, use the run game to set up the pass. However, there could be a sense that the opposite may be better. The weakness of the Atlanta Falcons has been their secondary. The Broncos have multiple weapons at the expense of Trevor Siemian. If he is given time, he should no problem picking apart this defensive sponge.

The Denver Broncos are looking to get a stronghold on the AFC West. This is an ideal game to do that with since the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers are playing each other. The Broncos face a short week after Atlanta. Get through this stretch, and you have the mini-bye ahead.
