Donna di Roma! Q and A With Italian Fashion and Editorial Model Claudia Borioni


Spring.

In the world of modeling, it is one of the most important and most robust. With notable fashion shows such as New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, London Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week,, spring is the season for major fashion brands, buyers and designers to show off their newest looks and designs.

It is also a time for various fashion models to strut down various runways and catwalks in the newest bikinis, dress, gowns and accessories which reflect this season of bright, fresh and of so much promise.

Spring is also the season to see models such as the stunningly gorgeous and long-legged Italian beauty in Roman-born fashion and editorial model Claudia Borioni take viewers breath away with her sexy and lithe figure.

The 26-year-old Borioni has strutted her stuff for the likes of designers such as Roberto Cavalli, Victor & Rolf and L’Oreal. Below is my Q and A with Ms. Borioni as we discuss spring fashion, modeling and her love of her hometown soccer club, AS Roma!

Robert D. Cobb: What kind of model do you consider yourself?

Claudia Borioni:I’m a fashion and editorial model”

 

Robert D. Cobb: What brands have you modeled for? Which one do you enjoy modeling for the most?

Claudia Borioni: “In my career, I have worked for many brands of clothing and personal care both Italian and both international. In my heart, I will always remain Roberto Cavalli, Vogue, Victor & Rolf and L’Oreal.”

Robert D. Cobb: Where has been your favorite place to shoot?

Claudia Borioni: “In Italy, we have the world’s most beautiful natural light to take photographs, but also London, the Caribbean and New York are beautiful places to work.”

 

Robert D. Cobb: What is the most exciting aspect of modeling?
Claudia Borioni: ”Being a professional model allows me to travel a lot, meet new people and discover new places. Also, I love to see me transformed with different looks and styles!”

Robert D. Cobb: With spring now here and summer right around the corner, what fashion and style tips and trends do you have for looking good when the temperature drops?
Claudia Borioni: When the temperatures drop I recommend choosing biker boots, denim jackets and colorful accessories like gloves and hats to put on if necessary.”

 

Robert D. Cobb: Within the industry, who is your inspiration?
Claudia Borioni: I love the style of Dolce Gabbana, Dior fragrances, ideas of Vogue. Among the Sofia Loren dive will always be the most beautiful!”

Robert D. Cobb: What is your secret to staying in shape?
Claudia Borioni: To stay in shape, I run an hour every morning and try to maintain a healthy diet, but I have to admit, I am very greedy!”

 

Robert D. Cobb: Outside of modeling, what are your hobbies?

Claudia Borioni: When not working, I love to travel, take long walks and spend my time with family and friends.”

Sports question: Who are your favorite teams and clubs?

Claudia Borioni: I’m Italian, we love football!!! I’m not a big supporter but if I choose I definitely cheer the football team, AS Roma!”

 

Robert D. Cobb: What are your favorite cities to travel to?

Claudia Borioni: “London, Paris, New York. But also Naples, Florence and Milan!”

Robert D. Cobb: What advice would you give to women aspiring to get into modeling?

Claudia Borioni: “My advice for young girls who want to become models, is to work hard but to live this experience with serenity; not all are suitable for this job. It is important don’t be sick with extreme diets to be very thin and never give in to any blackmail. The spirit is always more important than the body!”
