On the same weekend that The Avengers were assembling in theaters nationwide, director David Ayers decided to give a sneak peak at his own little assemblage of, dare I say, heroes?
By way of a Twitter post, Ayers gave fans a good look at the fully kitted out members of the Suicide Squad. There is, of course, one notable absentee in this rogue’s gallery – Jared Leto as The Joker. There has been a picture of Leto as the Joker making the rounds, but some have said this particular depiction of The Joker isn’t the one that will appear on screen.
The cast featured in the image below includes: Adam Beach as Slipknot, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo.

Ayers later posted a pic of just Will smith in his full Deadshot gear and mask, looking quite the part.

Perhaps we fans will be lucky enough to see some solo shots of the other characters, especially The Joker, very soon. Filming on Suicide Squad is currently underway in Toronto, and is slated for a release date of August 6th of 2016.
