Best known for portraying CIA agent Sarah Walker on the NBC series, ‘Chuck’ by fans and critics alike, Yvonne Strahovski is taking her talents to another level in ABC’s 1960’s period drama ‘The Astronaut Wives Club’.
Strahovski, a 33-year-old native of Werrington Downs, New South Wales, Australia, burst onto the film scene with roles in movies such as Gone and The Plex before forever endearing herself to the hearts of comic book nerds and geeks worldwide in ‘Chuck’ in 2007.
While being on ‘Chuck’ for five seasons from 2007 to 2012, Strahovski would branch off into other areas such as voice actress work on video games such as Mass Effect 1-3 (Miranda Lawson), The 3rd Birthday (Aya Brea), Lego: The Adventures of Clutch Powers (Peg Mooring) and The Outback (Miranda) before landing a role in the 2012 Seth Rogen comedy, The Guilt Trip and the Stuart Beattie 2014 fantasy action film, I, Frankenstein.
Strahovski would further expand her acting portfolio into cable television and drama, thanks to her role as Hannah McKay in Showtime’s Dexter and as London-based CIA agent Kate Morgan in the 2014 limited-event TV series, 24: Live Another Day opposite Kiefer Sutherland.
And so far, 2015 and beyond looks to be a truly promising year for the sexy and talented Strahovski.
Thanks to her current role as Rene Carpenter, a member of Mercury Seven, the group of wives married to America’s first astronauts in ‘The Astronaut Wives Club’, Strahovski has proverbially graduated from sci-fi nerd goddess to serious drama queen.
And for her, the sky is truly the limit.
Currently linked as one of the early fan favorites to nab the role of Carol Danvers in Marvel’s up-coming Captain Marvel, Beth in Amazon’s new drama Edge as Beth, an upcoming role as Karen in the 2016 psychological drama, All I See Is You with Blake Lively.
Strahovski will also return to voice acting in the 2016 animated film Batman: Bad Blood as Kate Kane/Batwoman, Due to her combination of talent, sexiness and ability to act in a wide range of genres, Strahovski is not only beautiful and talented, but also one of Hollywood’s most versatile leading ladies.
