GM Diet Plan: This Scientifically Proven Diet Plan Will Help You Lose 10 Pounds In A Week

Overweight is the major issue of concern from Oscar winners to ordinary dwellers. According to WHO, “65% of the world’s population live in countries where overweight and obesity are potential threats than underweight.” It is a bit uncomfortable but still we need to accept the truth.

If you are looking to lose your weight with minimal effort, then I have a miraculous diet plan for you. This diet plan keeps you in good shape and enhances your health profoundly. After all anyone’s wish is to live happy and healthy.

Where is happiness when you are not healthy? So, to be happy you need to be healthy.

Now, it’s my privilege to present you the “GM diet plan”. This plan is designed by General Motors’ company in collaboration with Food and Drug Administration along with the department of agriculture, in 1985. This diet is planned in such a way to cut your weight quickly within 7 days up to 10-17 lbs; this is marvelous isn’t it? Ok, now let’s dive deep into the diet plan.

This diet works on the simple principle that the foods we take burn more calories in the body than adding calories.

GM diet plan

Every day early in the morning add honey (2tbsp) along with lemon juice 3 (tbsp) in a glass of warm water, mix thoroughly and drink. This step ensures that your metabolic levels are boosted, and your internal organs are detoxified.

Day-1: The fruit day

If you are a fruit lover, you are going to enjoy this day. On this day eat all fruits of your choice except banana. Eating fruits like watermelons, oranges, apples, lime and pomegranates have proved successful in reducing weights to the considerable amount. The best thing about the citrus fruits is that they are much efficient in flushing of wastes from our body. The added advantage with these fruits is that they have the rich supply of anti-oxidants.

Key points to remember:

  1. Water should be taken 30 minutes after taking the fruits because immediate intake of water raises the problem of acidity.
  2. Since on this day, you stay only on fruits which don’t provide less energy, heavy workout’s and laborious work is not advisable.
  3. Whenever you feel hungry even after taking fruits, just don’t starve, eat fruits of your wish.

Day-2: All veggie day

On this day feel free to eat vegetables of your choice either raw or boiled. Mostly vegetables like carrots, tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce are recommended. If you want to take potatoes, it’s your wish but be careful that you take 1 or 2 because potatoes are rich in carbohydrates, one potato is good enough to fulfill your energy needs for the whole day. So it is better to stick to 1 or 2. Vegetables are full of vital nutrients and fiber. You will be astonished if I reveal the fact that these vegetables are nearly calorie free. Amazing huh?
Care should be taken to prevent oil and sugar in the diet since they provide more energy and spoil the intention of the day’s diet.

Precautions:

  1. No fruit should be taken on this day.
  2. You should take care that your salt intake is very negligible.

Day-3: Fruits+veggies day

Diet for this day is simply the mixture of day 1 and day 2. You can consume the foods followed in the preceding 2 days in a proportionate manner but taking potatoes is strictly prohibited since fruits already give the considerable amount of carbohydrates to you.
Salads are tastier, trying different sorts of salads with vegetables and fruits make the diet more interesting for the day.

Day-4: The Banana day

Fill your diet with 6 bananas and 4 glasses of milk.

On this day, you try preparing soup with tomatoes, capsicum, onions and garlic which adds flavor to your diet. Bananas are taken to serve as a source of sodium and potassium and compensate the reduction in salt intake.
Hang on guys; you are just 3 steps away from tasting the victory.

Day-5: The Protein day

All veggies, you take nearly 6 tomatoes and chicken lovers, you take 500 gm of chicken. Don’t forget to take more water on this day because water is excellent expeller of uric acid.

Day-6:

Your diet is more solid today. You are free to take sprouts, cheese and other vegetables but not tomatoes.
You can even prefer to take green tea but not tea or coffee.

Day-7:

Resist your temptation today to feel your body 10-17 lbs lighter tomorrow; this is the ultimate day.
Prepare a tasty fruit juice of your choice and take ½ cup of brown rice with it.
That’s it guys you have successfully completed your diet plan. Good job.
