With the overwhelming success of Guardians of the Galaxy, it was only a matter of time before Marvel brought it back for a sequel. It’s a fun, family friendly, upbeat film about the most unlikely heroes teaming together to save the universe. Fans have waited for this trailer since the announcement of the film’s sequel. Now they finally get their wish.
From the trailer, the sequel looks to pick up right where the original left off. With no shortage of 80’s music playing in the background, everything that fans loved appears to be intact.

Not only has Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. #2, brought back it’s star studded cast it also brings some familiar faces into the fold. On top of the returning cast, Hollywood heavyweights from the 80s & 90s like Kurt Russel and Sylvester Stallone as it looks to pull in audiences of all ages. Guardians 2 will bring that old school family films that will keep the pace and tone of today’s superhero films. Marvel has done a great job building their expanded universe past the stand alone films. Where will Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 take the story next? Guess we’ll find out May 5th, 2017!
