If you need to take regular prescription medication, or a 24 hour chemist near me, then you may feel like you spend half your life waiting in the pharmacy. This can be difficult and inconvenient and could even interfere with your abilities to fulfil your duties at work.

Many pharmacies, particularly in small towns and rural communities, only open on weekdays between the hours of 9-5, when most people are busy at work themselves. Luckily, there is an easier solution. A UK online pharmacy may be able to make the process of receiving the medications you need easier and more straightforward than ever. Moreover, there is a Canadian Pharmacy working well as Canada’s online mail-order pharmacies with many satisfied patients, these are examples for you to have a look at before choosing an online pharmacy.

Here are just some of the benefits of choosing to use an online pharmacy:

At Your Convenience

One of the main benefits of choosing an online pharmacy, such as chemist hassall grove, is that you will receive your drugs at a time that suits you, straight to your front door. This guarantees your complete privacy and means that you’ll never have to worry about finding the time to go to the pharmacy when they’re open (which is usually when you’re at work) ever again.

Whilst this is something that can undoubtedly benefit anyone, there are certain groups in particular who may benefit from this kind of service straight to their door: housebound patients, for example, would no longer have to rely on family and friends to collect their prescriptions on their behalf. For individuals living in remote areas, for example, it can save the time and the expense of travelling long distances to visit your local pharmacy. Individuals who are looking to buy personal products, or those for an intimate issue, may also prefer the anonymity that comes from using an online pharmacy.

The Medication You Need is Just a Click Away

Another benefit of choosing to use an online pharmacy is just how quick it is. Modern online pharmacy services use online technology to make the process of ordering, and reordering, the prescriptions you need incredibly simple. You won’t need to visit your GP’s surgery to order repeat prescriptions: you can do it all with just a click or two.

Using an online pharmacy will also provide you instant access to the information leaflets, resources and medical research about your drugs that you need. That means you can instantly check your side effects and interactions, without having to locate the crumpled instructions leaflet you found at the bottom of your box and instantly discarded!

Extra Consultations

Many online pharmacies will offer free online consultations to their patients. That means that if you have concerns about your existing medication and its side effects, or you have another issue you would like to discuss with a pharmacist, but don’t feel is significant to bother your GP with, then you can receive this consultation from the comfort of your own desk chair, without having to take time out from work.

If you do decide to use an online pharmacy for a consultation then you should be sure to ensure that the website you use is properly set up to safeguard your privacy, and your medical information. Legitimate online pharmacies will never share your personal information and will keep it as safe and protected as possible.

Choose Wisely

Of course, like with all websites, there are many illegitimate online pharmacies, as well as the many legitimate ones. If you visit a website for a pharmacy that offers you medication without the need for a prescription, or if the prices they are charging for the medications you need is well below the market rate, you should approve these sites with caution. It is likely that they are operating outside of the strict parameters of the law, and it is unlikely that you will reliably receive the legitimate drugs that you need. Often using an online pharmacy will be more expensive than your local high street pharmacy, so compensate for the convenience of your medication arriving at your front door when you need it. If the fees are too low then the website simply isn’t legitimate.

Listen to your gut. If you have doubts about a website then simply don’t use it: move on and find one that seems more legitimate and is better suited to your needs.

  1. You rightly said that it is convenient to order prescription drugs home but that does come with a price. The thing is when you order prescriptions online, you have to upload or share your prescription and a photo id with the online pharmacy. If the online pharmacy is not careful, there is a risk of your personal information being shared all over the internet. USA and Canada have a program in place to ensure that all accredited online pharmacies follow the strict guidelines to ensure customer safety.

According to a report by Zion market research, global erectile dysfunction drugs market was valued at approximately USD 4.82 billion in 2017 and is expected to generate revenue of around USD 7.10 billion by end of 2024, growing at a CAGR of around 5.70% between 2018 and 2024. Online pharmacies sell a lot of ED drugs and it comes as no surprise why more and more people prefer buying prescriptions online as opposed to visit their local pharmacy.

How do you find out if an online pharmacy is legitimate (only valid for Canada and USA)?

In America – The Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites (VIPPS) program has been accrediting websites offering pharmacy services since 1999. So every online pharmacy site in the USA has to carry the VIPPS seal. In case you want to read more about VIPPS (ask me for the link)

In Canada – Canadian International Pharmacy Association is the largest program in Canada that approves online pharmacies. All online pharmacy websites carrying the CIPA seal are safe to shop on. Read more about CIPA here – (ask me for the link)

Just to be clear, I have no affiliation to either Zion market research, VIPPS or CIPA. I am an independent Digital Marketer and I have a few large clients (operating in USA and Canada) in the healthcare domain for a few years now so I have had to learn all of this and keep myself updated.
