Let’s face it, Las Vegas would be nothing if it weren’t for lavish accommodations. It’s for good reason that the hotels on the Vegas strip are some of the most fabulous in the world.

I’ll bet you’re wondering what hotels are the best to stay at in Vegas? While I stayed off the strip during my most recent visit, I made it a priority to explore some of what the best hotels had to offer its guests. And while all are certainly luxurious, a few really stood out.

If you want to get the Big Apple experience in Las Vegas, you better make sure to check out New York, New York. With its pizza shops, bakeries, and steakhouses, the hotel does a great job of giving you that New York experience.

Of all the hotels, New York, New York was my favorite. For starters, the themeing of the hotel really made it feel like you’re in the actual city. In addition, there is a pretty extensive arcade and top-notch roller coaster. And while I didn’t get an opportunity to experience this, the Cirque De Soleil show, Zumanity also plays at the hotel.

While not overly themed, the Mirage is certainly a work of art. Not only is the hotel beautiful, there are a plethora of things to do. To be quite honest, the Mirage almost felt like its own 5-star resort.

In addition to your typical pool, the Mirage features Seigfried and Roy’s (). In the exhibit you can get up close to Dolphins, Lions, Tigers, and more. Don’t forget about the volcano in the front of the hotel, which features a slew of fire and water effects. Also, both Terry Fator and Cirque De Soleil features shows at the hotel.

While not as glamorous as the Mirage, the Flamingo made you feel as if you were in Miami Beach. With its mostly pink decor, the hotel is extremely vibrant. And like the Mirage, there is plenty to do away from your room.

On the Flamingo grounds is an exhibit dedicated to, Flamingos! You can witness the elegant animals in a lavish outdoor display. And if you’re in the mood for a show, the hotel has you covered. The star attractions of the Flamingo, Donny and Marie perform nightly, and America’s Got Talent alum, Piff the Magic Dragon also has a residence at the hotel.

The Linq is a relatively new hotel. And while their is very little themeing, it’s the outdoor promenade that gets the most attention.

Featured just outside the Linq hotel is a collection of resturants and shops. Of course the real star of the show is the High Roller ferris wheel. And if you’re looking for a show at the Linq, they’ve got you covered. America’s Got Talent Season 9 winner, Mat Franco, puts on a masterful magic show in the hotels upstairs theater.

So, next time you go to Vegas, make sure to check out these hotels.
