I didn’t ‘think’ or ‘want’ to necessarily do another NFL Mock Draft, but considering we are so close to THAT time, I figured it would only be right.

Rumors and speculation have been a flow all week, and deciphering what is purely speculative, and what actually has real merit is the tough part. With all that being said, I’m going to do my absolute best to get this ‘RIGHT.’ This isn’t what I think ‘should’ happen but what I honestly think could happen. Let’s begin!

  1. Cleveland Browns – Myles Garrett DE – Too many rumors honestly linking the Browns and Trubisky, I just don’t see it happening. They’ll get a QB later.
  2. Buffalo Bills (TRADE)– Mitch Trubisky QB – I think the 49ers have a deal in place with one of these teams that WANTS Trubisky. Bills know they have to get ahead of the Bears to get him. I don’t know if it’ll be the Bills, but this is a speculative guess.
  3. Chicago Bears – Marshon Lattimore CB – Bears are desperate for a top-flight corner in their division. They get a true # 1 in Lattimore
  4. Jacksonville Jaguars – Solomon Thomas DT – Typical Tom Coughlin adding a proven pass rusher to their defensive line.
  5. Tennessee Titans– Haason Reddick DE/LB – Reddick gives the Titans the flexibility to play as an LB or play on the line of scrimmage. Think he’s absolutely going top 10
  6. New York Jets – Leonard Fournette RB – Fournette gives the Jets a dynamic offensive piece they haven’t seen in a long time
  7. Los Angeles Chargers – Jamal Adams SS – Adams is one of the safest players in the draft. He will give the Chargers the safety they haven’t had since Weddle left
  8. Carolina Panthers – Christian McCaffrey RB – This is just too easy, isn’t it? I think he will be sitting on a silver platter for the Panthers
  9. Cincinnati Bengals – Jon Allen DT – Bengals love drafting the defensive lineman, Allen is just too good to pass up, shoulder and all.
  10.  San Francisco 49ers (TRADE)– Malik Hooker FS – 49ers have been a bit disappointed with Eric Reid the past 2 seasons, Hooker gives them a true FS they desperately need in their new defensive system.
  11. New Orleans Saints – Marlon Humphrey CB – Saints are desperate for a CB early in this draft, reports are serious that they love Humphrey. Wouldn’t be shocked if they attempt to move down either.
  12. Cleveland Browns –Patrick Mahomes QB – Mahomes is a guy the Browns secretly really love. They shock the world and take Mahomes over Watson.
  13. Arizona Cardinals – Deshaun Watson – Cardinals love Watson, and he will be ready as soon as Carson Palmer goes down again due to injury. I assume he will take over starting duty in 2018. No better place he can go to develop.
  14. Indianapolis Colts – Derek Barnett DE – Colts needs help on defense, Barnett is best defensive player on board
  15. Philadelphia Eagles – Mike Williams WR – Not sold Eagles aren’t going to draft a WR just because they shelled out money in free agency. Plus, the receivers they signed in free agency were all 1-year deals. Williams gives them someone for future and he’s too good to pass up.
  16. Baltimore Ravens – Forrest Lamp G – Ravens are desperate to upgrade their offensive line. Lamp gives them the best player in the draft on the offensive line.
  17. Washington Redskins – Jarrad Davis LB – Redskins instantly get faster and more explosive at LB.
  18. Tennessee Titans – Corey Davis WR – Davis’ medical looked to have checked out good. Some teams like Davis as the best WR in the draft, including the Titans.
  19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Dalvin Cook RB – Once again, this is too obvious. I think Bucs need to make this pick.
  20. Denver Broncos – Charles Harris DE – No offensive lineman the Broncos feel comfortable drafting so they go with the best player on their board. Harris can take over for Demarcus Ware.
  21. Detroit Lions – Reuben Foster LB – Lions are one of the few teams who wouldn’t be afraid to pull this off. Their defense gets the swagger they use to have with the pick of Foster.
  22. Miami Dolphins – David Njoku TE – This is the obvious fit. Njoku’s upside is through the roof. He will help Tannehill continue to improve on his good season last year.
  23. New York Giants – Zach Cunningham LB – The Giants desperately need to upgrade their LB core, and Cunningham is the guy to do it.
  24. Oakland Raiders – Cam Robinson T – Robinson isn’t a finished product and certainly has his weaknesses, but he could be a really good RT for the Raiders.
  25. Houston Texans – Tre’Davious White CB – One of the best pure cover corners in the draft. He would be an immediate starter for the Texans and replace AJ Bouye
  26. Seattle Seahawks – Kevin King CB – King just seems like the ideal Seahawks pick. Big, physical and strong. He possesses the ideal length and size they want in their CB’s.
  27. Kansas City Chiefs – Chidobe Awuzie CB – Kansas City adds an experienced CB that will give them an immediate starter.
  28. Dallas Cowboys – TJ Watt DE – The coaching staff just absolutely loves everything about Watt. In fact, they believe he can be an RDE in their scheme. They are hoping he falls to them.
  29. Green Bay Packers – Adoree Jackson CB – Jackson gives the Packers an explosive athlete that will have some hiccups in coverage early on. Nevertheless, Jackson can be an elite playmaker when given an opportunity to get his hands on the ball.
  30. Pittsburgh Steelers – Evan Engram TE – Big Ben has been making hints that he is nearing retirement. Hence, they need to give him another weapon on offense to compete with Patriots again this year. Furthermore, Engram gives him the speed they desperately need.
  31. Atlanta Falcons – Taco Charlton DE – Charlton would be the perfect complement to Vic Beasley. Charlton can play the LDE spot. Also, he provides the power and strength to bull rush and be disruptive from the other side of the line.
  32. New Orleans Saints – Tak McKinley DE – Growing concerns that McKinley will need to start the season on PUP with his offseason shoulder surgery. However, he falls into the laps of the Saints here.
