Week eight of the NFL season will see two teams from the middle of the United States go up against one another. The Kansas City Chiefs will leave the comforts of Arrowhead Stadium and head to Indiana, where they will take on the Indianapolis Colts. The Chiefs are coming off a 27-21 win at home against the New Orleans Saints. Meanwhile, the Colts are coming off a win of their own in Tennessee against the Titans.

Typically, the Chiefs perform better at home as opposed to on the road. They have won one of three road games this season, but the two of those three that were losses, the team was only able to score 12 and 14 points. The team has some offensive weapons, and their defense can be a turnover machine at times as well. But despite their talent, there is no denying the fact that the team does play a lot better at home. And this week, they will be on the road.

As for the Colts, they are not nearly as well balanced as the Chiefs. They rely completely on their offense, while their defense is terrible. In every game they have played this season, both the Colts and their opponents have scored at least 20 points. In five of their seven games they have gone over the fifty points combined with their opponents. The two games that they did not hit the 50, they combined for 48 and 49.

So this one I am counting on plenty of offense. The Chiefs have the offensive talent to score some points, and as I mentioned, the Colts defense is pretty brutal. I am not willing to lay any points with the Chiefs on the road, so this one is as easy pick for me.
