Is the Larry Sanders era over in Milwaukee? Sanders, who missed his fifth consecutive game on Friday, is sitting out due to personal reasons.

Bucks coach Jason Kidd offered this response on Sanders timetable for return.

“That’s a good question so you don’t have to ask me tomorrow or Sunday or Monday, so there’s no timetable.”

It seems like Kidd isn’t very optimistic on his starting center’s return, but this isn’t the first time Jason Kidd has sat a player for personal reasons. While coaching for the Brooklyn Nets,  Kidd took issue with Andray Blatche, and confronted him about his conditioning and focus.

Kidd sat Blatche for four December games because of what Kidd called “personal reasons,” which is the same set of circumstances  Sanders finds himself under. It’s not clear if Kidd is using the same tactic with Sanders as he did with Blatche.

However, Kidd isn’t just keeping the media in the dark, but also his players. When asked about the situation current starting center Zaza Pachulia stated the following.

“Whenever Larry comes….obviously his locker is still here…he’s going to address. It’s up to him. But we know it’s a personal reason. That’s all we heard.”

Whatever the case may be, Sanders isn’t on the court for the Bucks. Whether he or not he ever does again, remains to be seen.
