The MLB offseason is officially in its stretch run. As we make our way towards the middle of January, we quickly approach one month until baseball is back. That is right baseball fans, Spring Training is almost here. Once pitchers and catchers report to Florida and Arizona, the winter is done, and the 2017 MLB season is upon us.

And now we know exactly when that will be! Spring Training reporting dates have officially been released! You can check out the full list of dates right here, with dates for pitchers and catchers, as well full squad reporting dates listed.

So it looks like the 2017 MLB season will get underway on February 14th. Pitchers and catchers will be reporting to their respective Spring Training facilities. Two days later, February 16th, all thirty teams will have their pitchers and catchers in camp. In regards to full rosters, a handful of clubs will have everyone in camp by February 17th. It will be the Los Angeles Dodgers and Texas Rangers who close things out, as they will be the last two clubs to have everyone report, with February 21st being the date for their full team to report.

So let the countdown begin! The road to Spring Training now feels more real now that we have actually dates to look forward to. The MLB season is not too far off, and before we know it, we will see players throwing, catching and hitting baseballs. The Chicago Cubs will need to prepare to defend their World Series Championship. But they should be well equipped to do just that with Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Jake Arrieta and Jon Lester in the fold.
