With Auburn’s title hopes hanging in the balance, Tigers quarterback Nick Marshall launched the ball about 50 yards in the air towards wideout Ricardo Louis, two Georgia defenders deflected the ball in the air and into the hands of Louis who jogged in for a touchdown putting the Tigers up 43-38, for an improbable win.

The catch saved the seven-ranked Tigers from blowing a 20-point lead and losing their shot at playing Alabama for a chance of going to the SEC Championship game in Atlanta. 3-9 last year, the Tigers have completed one of the biggest turnarounds in college football, and now have a chance to win the SEC West by beating bitter Iron Bowl rival, Alabama on the plains.

Aaron Murray orchestrated a 20-point comeback mostly through the air. Murray finished with 415 yards passing and two touchdowns. His last rushing touchdown put the Dawgs up 38-37. Murray’s gutsy performance was the only thing that kept the Bulldogs in the game. Tre Mason continued his dominant ground performances by rushing for 115 yards and one touchdown.

Mason has quietly become one of the nation’s best running backs this season, leading the SEC in rushing touchdowns and yards.  Louis had his break out game catching four passes for 131 yards and 66 yards on five rush attempts.  With their dramatic win, this latest Iron Bowl will be supercharged as it may hold national title implications.
