New York City: There will be a Golden Corral in the Bronx in 2017

For a city to proclaim themselves as the best tourist attraction in the world, New York City sure falls short where it matters most. If sightseeing is your thing then this is the best place to be, but if your stomach starts to growl and you would like to get some essentials, then this is the worst place to be. New York is built for the outsiders, not the insiders as I spoke about in my piece on why NY will never have a Walmart. It’s just the way the city is made.

Until now.

Golden Corral will finally make its way into the heart of one of NYC’s 5 boroughs. In the Spring on 2017, the Bronx will open its doors to what is possibly the best buffet restaurant in the United States. For years New Yorker’s have wondered if the Southern-based chain will make its way up North. There are Golden Corrals in New Jersey but for some reason, NY has always let the opportunity pass by. The masses have spoken and NY has finally decided to take care of their own.

The restaurant will be located at 2375 E. Tremont Ave Bronx, NY 10462. The restaurant has already broke ground but even better than the food is the 120 job openings it will bring the city. For those that haven’t had the luxury of eating at the buffet styled restaurant let me explain a little what they will offer.

There is a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, where you can get anything from eggs to shrimp. There are deserts for the kids and the inner child in you, ranging from jello to a chocolate fountain. The restaurant will seat up to 300 people, and with its location, it will need every bit of space they can offer.

NY residents have waited patiently for something like this to happen. Golden Corral will not enter the city with Manhattan prices. This may be one the few chain restaurants where prices do not sway too high as you travel from state to state.

The time has come for me to finally say think you to the city of New York for hearing our pleas. Welcome to our fine state Golden Corral but best of all, welcome to the Da Bronx.
