Texans Officially Introduce Bill O’Brien as New Head Coach, Open to Trading No.1 Pick? – After months of speculation and rumors of being the front-runner in Houston, the Texans officially introduced Bill O’Brien as their new head coach—the fourth in their 15-year history.

15-9 in two seasons at Penn State, O’Brien replaces fired head coach Gary Kubiak and interim head coach Wade Phillips.  In the Texans, O’Brien inherits a under-achieving 2-14 team stacked with talent in the form of J.J. Watt, Andre Johnson, Arian Foster and Matt Schaub

Texans owner Bob McNair has stated that the Texans are opening to trading out of the top spot, to rebuild and address more importantly areas of need.

Art Briles, Jim Mora Withdraw Names From Texas Longhorns Job – According to media reports, Baylor Bears head coach Art Briles has withdrawn his name from the Longhorns head coaching job and is “dedicated to many more great years” at Baylor.

In six years at Baylor, Briles had compiled a 44-32 record, one Big-12 title and produced NFL stars such as Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Robert Griffin III, All-Pro and Pro Bowl wide receiver Josh Gordon, Kendall Wright, Terrance Williams and 2014 Heisman contender Bryce Petty.

Mora, the son of former Colts and Saints head coach, Jim Mora, has helped turn the tide in Los Angeles on the cross-town rival Trojans in going 2-0 vs USC and a 19-8 record in Westwood has decided to stay at UCLA, per the Los Angeles Times.
