CLEVELAND- The Browns may have the best overall rushing attack in the NFL for the 2015 season. One of the Browns running backs will likely rush over 1,000 yards as Cleveland will feature another run heavy offense.

Isaiah Crowell (607 rushing yards) comes to mind first when fans think of the one running back who is most likely to rush for more than 1,000 yards. Terrance West (673 rushing yards in 2014) could be capable of rushing for more than 1,000 yards as well.

However, the Browns may turn to rookie Duke Johnson to be the number one running back on the depth chart at some point this season. Crowell will likely start for the Browns to open the season against the New York Jets. Johnson was compared to former Philadelphia Eagles and current Buffalo Bills star running back LeSean McCoy.

Johnson has the same outstanding vision to find gaping holes as McCoy and he has equally impressive speed. General manager Ray Farmer made the easy comparison to former Eagles dual threat Brian Westbrook: ” Definitely a guy I thought running the ball, could catch the ball; a dynamic player returning kicks- can catch punts.” “He’s got a unique skills set that will affect our roster in multiple ways. We love the fact that he’s quick and agile.

Kick and punt returns were a noticeable weakness of the Browns last season but after drafting Johnson and signing Terrelle Pryor, the Browns can win field position battles.

Johnson broke Ottis Anderson’s University of Miami’s all-time school record with 3,241 rushing yards.

Johnson injured his left hamstring on Saturday. The injury is not expected to linger.
