CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns made two major moves yesterday by cutting Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden and trading former first round offensive lineman Cameron Erving. Cleveland has even more cap space due to these moves, leaving some to speculate that big trades for wide receivers will happen soon.

Per media reports and speculation, Seattle Seahawks receiver Jermaine Kearse could be traded to the Browns tonight.

Seattle is shopping him and Cleveland is probably the best suitor due to the dire need to provide rookie quarterback Deshone Kizer with additional offensive weapons. Kearse never eclipsed the 1,000 receiving yards mark for any season as Doug Baldwin was the number one receiver. Baldwin will continue to be Russell Wilson’s top target.

Another possibility is trading for Los Angeles Chargers receiver Dontrelle Inman. The Browns aren’t showing much interest in trading for him right now. Inman recorded 810 yards and four touchdowns last season.

Miami Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry was mentioned as a possibility despite head Coach Adam Gase refuting the trade rumors. Landry is the final year of his contract. He tallied 94 receptions for 1,136 yards and four touchdowns. Landry said,

“He called me in and he just talked to me, explained to me the situation and everything that’s going on and that that’s false and that’s all I really need to hear from him.” Landry also commented on the rumors saying, “I mean if they did, I don’t know about it, and that’s not something I can control.” There were reports that Miami considered trading Landry.

The Denver Broncos are willing to trade Cody Lattimer. It is not known at this time if the Browns are interested in trading for Lattimer. He enters his fourth season and didn’t even eclipse the 100 receiving yards mark.

Cleveland has multiple draft picks including two 1st round picks and three second round picks for 2018, that could be used in a trade.
