We all know that Richard Sherman can have a big mouth. We saw it in the playoffs against the 49ers and at the end of the 2012 playoff game against the Washington Redskins. Now we are hearing that there is some blame coming from his pipes. Sherman is saying that it is the fault of the offense and Head Coach Pete Carroll for not winning multiple Super Bowls. Is this just some more hot air coming out of Sherman’s mouth or is he trying to talk his way out of Seattle?

Think of all the times that have heard Richard Sherman talk. More times than not he is talking smack about another player. Alternatively, he is praising his own abilities as a player. Either way, his mouth runs a lot more than he does. That can often have a negative effect on a team.

Many believe that Richard Sherman is not as strong as his talk game. This may be true; however, he is one of the best in the game. His shutdown cover skills are worth talking about. Although the junk can be put to rest. I am all for celebrating, put do it with respect, class, and dignity.

Reports began surfacing this summer that there were dissensions in the Seattle Seahawks locker room. The defense, which includes Richard Sherman, was not happy with the performance of the offense. Now it is coming into a brighter light.

Sherman has publicly stated that he believes it is the fault of some of his teammates and coaching staff for not winning Super Bowl XLIX. We all remember Russell Wilson throwing an interception on the two-yard line with less than a minute to play. In fact, this still resonates in the back of the mind of Richard Sherman.

With these newer details emerging, one has to wonder if Sherman is talking to get out of Seattle. He was on the trading block earlier this off-season. However, according to Pete Carroll that is no longer the case. Nonetheless, could he now be back on?

No matter what you think of Richard Sherman, one thing is clear. He is a hell of a football player. In spite of his mouth, he would immediately improve any defensive secondary. There are teams that would love to have him. Now would be a prime time to go get him.
