While not as well-known as their long time political and cricket arch-rivals from India, Pakistan has produced some beautiful and talented actresses in their own right.
One of those being the beautiful Dilshad Vadsaria.
While Indian actresses such as Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife, Traitor), Melanie Chandra (Code Black), Frieda Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) and Priyanka Chopra (Quantico) have captured the eyes and hearts of American viewers recently, don’t sleep on the recent Pakistani influx into Hollywood led by Naureen Zaim (Fast & Furious, Wedding Crashers), Nargis Fakhri (Rockstar, Spy) and the forementioned Vadsaria.
Vadsaria, a 30-year-old half Portuguese-Indian native of Karachi, moved to the United States with her family at the age of six. She would spend time in Chicago, Richmond, Virginia and Philadelphia. The University of Delaware graduate would then make her first major foray into Hollywood as Rebecca Logan in the hit ABC Family TV series, Greek from 2007-11.
Vadsaria would go on to land other roles in Revenge as Padma Lahari, Kate in 30 Minutes of Less, Murder in the First as Jasmin Lee and Bones as Padma Dalaj.
Set to appear in FOX’s up-coming modern-day Frankenstein sci-fi crime drama ‘Second Chance’ this January as twin co-billionaire tech founder Mary Goodwin, Vadsaria may seem like the face you already know, but make no mistake, she will make it unforgettable in 2016.
