The Indianapolis Colts (4-5) travel to Nashville, TN to take on the Tennessee Titans (5-5). The Titans are led by an incredible running game. They also have a solid, underrated defense. Can they handle the passing attack of Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts? This is a battle for second place in the division. Are you buying or selling the Tennessee Titans?

Colts Offense vs Titans Defense

The passing game of the Indianapolis Colts is solid. Andrew Luck has a very strong stable of weapons to throw the ball to. They are currently ranked 12th in the league averaging 262 yards per game. The Titans secondary is probably the weakest part of its defense. They currently rank 24th in the league with an average of 270 yards against them. However, it is the pass rush of the Titans that assists their less than average secondary. They are 5th ranked defense when it comes to sacking the QB. They average 3 sacks per game. We know the woes of the Colts and their offensive line. If the Titans can create pressure they should have a successful day against Andrew Luck and company.

Titans Offense vs Colts Defense

The Tennessee Titans are led by a tremendous running game. They have a two-headed monster that has been tearing opposing defense. Last week, against then #1 ranked Green Bay Packers, the Titans ran for 154 yards. The Colts currently rank 22nd against the run (115 yards/game) and 30th overall (402 yards/game). This is going to leave a lot of space for RBs DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry. The success of the running game dictates how successful and how they use QB Marcus Mariota. He should continue to be able to find his favorite target, TE Delanie Walker over the middle of the field. I do not see why they Tennessee Titans cannot continue to find offensive success against the Indianapolis Colts in week 11.

This is a battle for second place in the AFC South. If the Titans can get the win they can continue to put the pressure on the division-leading Houston Texans, still with a game remaining against them. This is a prime week for Titans to make a divisional statement. I am jumping on that train and buying me a ticket to the Tennessee Titans.
