Terrelle Pryor has come to terms on a free agent deal with the New York Jets. The former Cleveland Browns wide receiver will now take his talent to the Big Apple.

According to NFL.com, The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Pryor, who also met with the Seattle Seahawks during his free-agent visits, was ranked No. 33 on Around The NFL’s Top 101 Free Agents of 2018.

Pryor gives the New York Jets another target in their offense that figures to select a quarterback with the third pick in the NFL Draft that was acquired last week from the Indianapolis Colts.

Pryor will have to prove he can become a more reliable pass catcher than he was with the Browns. Pryor tallied a mere 240 receiving yards with one touchdown in nine appearances (two starts) with the Washington Redskins last year — a far cry from his 1,000-yard campaign with the Browns in 2016.

The 6-foot-4, 228 Pryor is a tall target and should be a red zone option for the New York Jets offense. He was originally drafted in the third round by the Washington Redskins in 2011. He was the starting quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes from 2008 to 2010, and was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 2011 NFL Supplemental Draft. He then played quarterback for the Raiders from 2011 to 2013 and later spent time with the Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cincinnati Bengals. He converted full-time to wide receiver with the Cleveland Browns in 2015, and also played with the Washington Redskins in 2017.

The New York Jets can use Pryor as Jermaine Kearse is the only big-play pass catcher on the roster. The team has signed quarterback Teddy Bridgewater in free agency and re-signed Josh McCown to a new deal this offseason.

McCown and Pryor were teammates in Cleveland in 2016.

Per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, the Jets offered Pryor, 28, far more money than the Browns were willing to pay.

Pryor wanted to come back to Cleveland and play for Hue Jackson again, but his asking price was too high for them considering they just traded for former Miami Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry, who will make $16 million this year.
