Stephen Curry is a game time decision for game four on Sunday afternoon after twisting his left ankle in the fourth quarter during game three. He did stay in the game until the San Antonio Spurs sealed the win to take the 2-1 series lead.

If Curry cannot go it means that Jarrett Jack will start in his place. A role that he won’t have trouble adjusting too as he averaged nearly 30 minutes per game during the 2012-2013 season and in the 2013 NBA Playoffs he’s averaged 36.2 minutes. He made four starts in the regular season averaging 18.8 points, 8.3 assists on 48.4 percent shooting, 41.7 from beyond the arc and 76.9 percent from the free throw line.

Jack so far in the playoffs has averaged 16.3 points, 5.4 assists, 4.4 rebounds on 49.1 percent from the field, 22.2 percent from three and 89.7 percent from the free throw line. Offensively the Golden State Warriors can take advantage of Jack’s size when he’s defended by the Spurs’ Tony Parker.  Defensively the same philosophy from game three forcing Parker to take mid-range jumpers or allow him to take threes.

Yet, don’t be surprised when Curry is in the starting lineup on Sunday. The only way he doesn’t play is if he’s in a wheelchair.
