We are still over a month to go until WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida. While WWE has most of the card determined, there are still several parts of the card that WWE has no idea of what they are going to do. One of the holes that the WWE is facing regarding the WrestleMania card is what do you do with the Smackdown Tag Team Champions, American Alpha.

While there are other areas that WWE needs to figure out over the next few weeks, but this one should be a top of the list, in my opinion. Unfortunately, WWE ended up booking the entire Smackdown Tag Team division at Elimination Chamber in a tag team turmoil match that featured American Alphas, Breezeango, The Ascension, The Vaudevillians, The Usos, and the inaugural Smackdown Tag team champions that were the team of Rhyno and Health Slater. The only team not featured in this bout was the Hype Bros as Zack Ryder is out recovering from an injury he sustained a while back.

Over the last few weeks, Jason Jordan and Chad Gable have had tag team matches against The Ascension and Breezeango. Also, the Usos have been cutting promos on American Alphas, so figure to see those teams clash in the next couple of weeks. However, the problem is that WWE has no team to put American Alpha with heading into WrestleMania. There were rumors floating around that we could see a match against two people not on the Smackdown roster, but there has been no mention to whom that may be.

If I were WWE I would make a move and call up the Revival. I am aware there are no plans to call up Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder to the main roster, but I feel they should get called up. It will be bad for the WWE if they don’t have someone for the Smackdown Tag team champions to face at the biggest stage. Also, the Revival have done all they can do in NXT and their time to get the call up is now.

Since the Smackdown Tag Team titles will be making their first appearance at this years WrestleMania, you don’t want either the belts to be on the pre-show or not on the card at all. I am aware that by calling the Revival up to the main roster that it would hurt the tag team division of NXT, but you are killing your tag team division on the main roster more by not calling them up.
