As the WWE is now officially on the road to Wrestlemania, they are starting to set the scene for what will happen down in Orlando, Florida in April. One of the bigger questions that the WWE happens to be facing is whether or not they can actually pull the trigger on the Seth Rollins/ Triple H match that has been talked about for the better part of two years. This match was supposed to happen at Wrestlemania 32 in Dallas, Texas; but Seth Rollins ended up blowing his knee out in November of 2015 at a house show in Europe.

Due to that injury, Seth Rollins was put on the shelf for a majority of 2016. It seemed that this match was more than likely going to happen at this years Wrestlemania after Triple H would screw Seth Rollins out of the WWE Universal Title back in August of last year. However, that match was brought into question when Samoa Joe would end up blindsiding Seth Rollins as he came down to the ramp to finally get a hold of Triple H.

However, this match was becoming more doubtful when reports started to circulate that Seth Rollins had done some actual damage to his knee as a result of Samoa Joe’s attack. According to reports, it seemed that Seth Rollins suffered a torn MCL and would be out of any in-ring action for upwards of eight weeks. It should be noted that WWE is still planning on having Rollins have his match at Wrestlemania as they feel he will be fine and ready to go.

This would have been bad for the career of Seth Rollins and for the WWE plans heading into Wrestlemania. It would have been bad for Seth Rollins because it would have meant he would miss two straight Wrestlemania events. Since Seth Rollins went into a singles career, he had the appearance at Wrestlemania 31 when he would cash in on Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. He hasn’t appeared at any other Wrestlemania.

On the other hand, it would have been bad for WWE if Seth Rollins would not have been able to go for Wrestlemania. It would have been bad for them because then they would have to figure out another way to go with Triple H. From what I was reading from reports, there were talks of having Samoa Joe or possibly Batista. While something could change over the next few weeks as Seth Rollins has gone for a second opinion. It is never a good sign when someone needs to go for a second opinion.

So while reports are coming out now saying that the WWE figures that Rollins should be fine to go for Wrestlemania 33, the WWE should have a plan B just to be on the safe side. I am good with Samoa Joe as being a plan B. If Rollins is not able to go for whatever reason, Who would you like to see Triple H face at Wrestlemania 33?
