Sync Speed:

Sync speed is the most essential thing in cloud storage. Thus, I checked it by uploading a 650mbs file on TeraBox. It took only 1 minute and 45 seconds for my file to get uploaded to the cloud service, which was quite a good time.

File Recovery:

File recovery is another crucial thing to check for cloud storage. To test it, I deleted my file. Yes, the one that I’d uploaded on the cloud. The file got saved in the TeraBox recycled bin, where I could quickly recover it. 

It’s crucial to mention that in the recycle bin, TeraBox keeps the files only for 10 days for a free version and for 30 days for a premium subscription. After that time, the files are permanently deleted from the server.

Versioning:

I looked into TeraBox’s versioning feature to see if it lets users access older versions of documents. Although TeraBox enables you to upload files, you can’t edit them online. When I uploaded a modified version, TeraBox just added a ‘(1)’ to the new file, which could be more helpful if you want to keep track of different versions of the same file easily.

You can also click the Generate to generate the file share link. You can then share that link with any person you want to. But please be cautious when sharing the link only with the person you trust.
