Adib Bari

Introduction: A Young Leader in Motion

At an age when most teenagers are figuring out who they want to be, Adib Bari is already leaving an imprint on his community and beyond. A business owner, real estate entrepreneur, youth mentor, and full-time college student, Adib balances it all — not just with ambition, but with intention. Raised in a family known for its service, leadership, and faith, Adib is now shaping his own future while strengthening the legacy of the Bari Family — one of the most respected Bangladeshi-American families in New York, USA.

And the most remarkable part? He’s still only 19.

Bari Family

A Son of the Bari Family

Born and raised in New York, Adib Bari is the youngest son of The Bari Family — the powerhouse behind The Bari Group, a multi-million-dollar network of companies that serve communities across healthcare, retail, media, real estate, senior services, hospitality, charity, and philanthropy.

His father, Asef Bari, is a self-made entrepreneur who came to the United States at a young age and built an empire from the ground up. From humble beginnings to owning dozens of successful businesses across New York, Asef instilled in his children a core belief: success means nothing if it isn’t rooted in integrity, faith, and service to others.

My father always told me: ‘Don’t expect anything — earn everything.’ That’s how he lived, and that’s how he raised us,”Adib Bari, in a Facebook interview

His mother, Munmun Hasina Bari, is a respected business leader and one of the most influential women’s empowerment figures in the Bangladeshi-American community. Known for her warmth and wisdom, she mentors women in business and inspires young girls to lead with strength and humility.

Adib’s brother, Muhib Bari, is a graduate of Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and currently serves as a project manager. His sister, Sabah Bari, is pursuing her MPH at Columbia University and is on track to become the first doctor in the Bari bloodline — a milestone that reflects the family’s unwavering commitment to education and service.

For Adib, family is not just where everything began — it’s his foundation, motivation, and moral compass.

“At the end of the day, family is everything to me. They’re my reason, my strength, and my reminder that no matter how far I go, I never go alone.”Adib Bari, in a televised interview with Parichoy.com News

Whether in the business world or the prayer hall, Adib carries his family’s legacy with pride — and lives each day determined to honor it through his own words, actions, and service.

Leading Through Education and Responsibility

Adib Bari graduated from Sachem North High School in Ronkonkoma, NY, in 2023 with an Advanced Regents Diploma — a distinction that reflects not just academic commitment, but a deep respect for the journey that brought his family to this country. He is currently pursuing a business degree at Farmingdale State College, applying what he learns directly into the businesses he helps lead and the communities he serves.

For Adib, education is far more than a personal goal — it’s a continuation of his father’s legacy. His father, Asef Bari, first came to America on a student visa, carrying nothing but ambition, faith, and the belief that knowledge could change the course of a family. It did.

“Education is what brought my father here. It’s what changed our lives. I owe it to him to take mine seriously.”

— Adib Bari, in a personal statement on social media

Adib sees higher education not as a finish line, but as a launchpad — a place to gain the tools, insight, and discipline needed to expand on the foundation his parents laid. Whether he’s managing real estate deals, coordinating community programs, or advising on strategic decisions at The Bari Group, he approaches each task with the mindset of a student and the work ethic of someone building for generations to come.

He also encourages other young Muslims and first-generation students to take their education seriously — not just to succeed, but to honor the sacrifices that made their opportunities possible.

Today, Adib serves as Director of The Bari Group, where he plays an active leadership role across ten operating businesses. These include Bari Home Care, Bari Supermarket, Bari Tower, Bari Restaurant, Bari & Bari LLC, Bari Media, The Weekly Bangla Post newspaper, Bari Party Hall, Butterfly Senior Daycare, and the Bari Charity Foundation. He supports branding, expansion, modernization, and intergenerational leadership across the entire portfolio.

But beyond business growth, Adib’s focus is on intergenerational leadership. He represents the next wave of The Bari Family — one that blends the wisdom of the past with the innovation of the present.

Youth Mentorship & Islamic Leadership

At the heart of Adib Bari’s mission is a deep and personal commitment to the youth. As the Elected Coordinator of Young Muslims (YM) Ronkonkoma), Adib has mentored hundreds of young men across Suffolk County — creating spaces for faith, brotherhood, and identity to thrive. He helps organize impactful weekly programs, service projects, community events, and spiritually enriching gatherings that empower Muslim youth to find purpose in their deen and direction in their lives.

More than a leader, Adib serves as a relatable role model — someone young people can trust, learn from, and be inspired by. His leadership has helped shift the narrative on what Muslim youth engagement can look like: organized, empowering, and deeply rooted in tradition.

Adib is also heavily involved with the Suffolk Islamic Center (SIC) — the mosque he grew up in, and one he continues to serve with pride. Over the years, he has helped expand SIC’s youth presence, build volunteer teams, plan major events, and support the long-term vision of the masjid. Whether coordinating Ramadan programs or participating in Friday night halaqas, Adib is known for his sincerity, consistency, and vision for youth development.

In addition, Adib plays an active role with the Muslim Council of Suffolk County, helping coordinate Islamic speaker events, community-wide gatherings, and joint initiatives that bring together families, scholars, and youth for learning and spiritual growth. He also works alongside other youth groups and Islamic organizations across New York, building collaborative programs that strengthen unity and uplift young leaders across the state.

Civic Engagement & Public Safety

Adib Bari’s influence extends beyond the masjid walls — into city halls, community boards, and partnerships with public institutions. He is deeply engaged in civic work, public safety, and interfaith collaboration that strengthens the fabric of Long Island’s diverse neighborhoods.

One of Adib’s most impactful contributions has been his ongoing partnership with the Suffolk County Police Department (SCPD). He works closely with officers and department leaders on mosque security, public awareness, and outreach programs that build trust and keep communities safe — especially during high-risk times like Ramadan.

In 2025, Adib played a lead role in the Annual Ramadan Safety Conference, bringing together over 20 mosques, SCPD, and community leaders to discuss safety planning, response protocols, and the importance of law enforcement relationships. The event was proudly sponsored by The Bari Group, reinforcing the Bari family’s role as both protectors and providers for the community.

Beyond policing, Adib also collaborates with local and state elected officials, advocacy groups, and nonprofit organizations on issues ranging from immigrant family services and youth protection to economic development and faith-based representation. He uses his voice and connections to amplify causes that matter — not just to Muslims, but to every neighbor trying to build a better life.

Adib’s civic involvement is grounded not in politics, but in purpose — a belief that real change comes when leadership, compassion, and action meet.

A Comical and Compassionate Approach to Charity

Adib Bari’s approach to charity is as heartfelt as it is hands-on. Whether he’s leading a youth food drive in New York or visiting rural Bangladesh, his mission is always the same: uplift people with compassion, dignity, and joy.

Locally, Adib supports a wide range of initiatives through the Bari Charity Foundation — including seasonal food and coat drives, holiday toy drives for children in need, and winter relief programs that reach underserved families across the city. His presence at these events is known to bring not only structure and leadership, but also laughter and lighthearted energy.

“We take the cause seriously,” Adib jokes, “but that doesn’t mean we can’t laugh while doing good. Laughter is sadaqah too.”

Internationally, Adib travels yearly to Rangpur, Bangladesh, where the Bari Charity Foundation supports an Islamic school (madrasa) and provides relief, education, food, and shelter to orphaned and underprivileged children. These visits are more than symbolic — they are personal pilgrimages of compassion, driven by faith and responsibility.

“Every time I visit, it reminds me why we do what we do,” Adib says. “These kids deserve the world — the least we can do is show up for them.”

Whether at home or abroad, Adib believes that charity isn’t about grand gestures — it’s about consistency, humility, and showing up with a smile, a plan, and an open heart.

Network and Vision

Adib Bari has built a broad and diverse network that includes young entrepreneurs, elected officials, police leadership, artists, influencers, and well-known Islamic speakers. But beyond the strength of his network, Adib is also a respected public speaker — using his voice to inspire, represent, and empower communities across borders.

He has spoken at the NYPD 115th police precinct, the American Bangladeshi Chambers of Commerce and Industries, and the NRB World Business Summit 2024 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has also addressed large political gatherings, youth conferences, and interfaith events — always focused on unity, values, and actionable change.

In recognition of his growing influence, Adib was featured in Business America Magazine, further solidifying his position as a young leader to watch in both community and corporate spaces.

“If you’re connected,” he says,

“use it to connect others to good.”

Whether delivering a keynote or building bridges behind the scenes, Adib continues to show that leadership isn’t about status — it’s about service, sincerity, and showing up for your people.

A Legacy in Motion

At an age where most people are still trying to figure out who they want to be, Adib Bari is already living for something far greater than himself. As a young leader rooted in tradition yet driven by vision, he is balancing multiple worlds — faith and finance, business and brotherhood, service and success — with humility and clarity beyond his years.

He’s directing multi-million-dollar operations under The Bari Group, managing real estate assets across New York, building A.W. Property Solutions from the ground up, mentoring youth across Long Island, and organizing large-scale community and interfaith programs — all while pursuing his business degree and remaining deeply connected to his mosque, his people, and his purpose.

What makes Adib’s story remarkable is not just what he’s accomplished, but the way he’s chosen to accomplish it — with sincerity, faith, and a deep love for his family and community. His legacy is being shaped not by titles or transactions, but by intention.

“Barakah doesn’t come from wealth,” he says.

“It comes from what you give — and who you uplift along the way.”

Still in his teens, Adib’s journey has only just begun. But his impact, his vision, and the path he’s paving — for his family, for his community, and for the next generation — make it clear:

As the son of a legacy, Adib isn’t just carrying a name.

He’s expanding it, evolving it, and already living one of his own.
