How will one identify Plantar Fasciitis?
1. You may have redness or/and swelling over the injured area. You can feel the warmth. You can check the inside edge of the foot’s arch and also the inside back edge of the heel.
2. If you have sharp pain especially severe one when you first get out of bed in the morning and the pain decreases as you walk around a bit, then you are most likely to have Plantar Fasciitis. Even if the pain goes away after a while in the morning, then this can and often dies return after any exercise and after being up on your feet for a while.
How is the problem of Plantar Fasciitis diagnosed?
Usually, a doctor or any other caregiver will first examine you and sometimes suggest you take x-rays. The X-Rays will let the caregiver know if there are any broken bones, bone spurs or any other problems which need to be corrected in order to help treat Plantar Fasciitis.

2. Once can apply ice massage and this works really well. You can fill a paper cup with water and then freeze the same. You can then peel back the paper and use the large-sized ice cube for massaging the bottom of the foot.
