ChevoBeatz has done it again. After shaking up the scene with ‘Shatta Gyal,’ which topped Argentina’s Billboard charts, he’s back with another hard-hitting track called ‘Time’s Dread.’ And just like before, he’s not playing around. This song isn’t just a vibe; it’s a statement.

If you haven’t heard it yet, stop whatever you’re doing and go listen. ‘Time’s Dread’ has been racking up views on Reggaeville’s YouTube channel since it dropped on January 30, and it’s not hard to see why. The track is laid over a groovy reggae beat, but it’s the message that hits the hardest. The song goes all in, calling out corruption, police brutality, and the media coverups that keep the truth hidden. It’s bold, it’s raw, and it’s exactly the kind of music that makes you stop and think. And with the way it’s gaining momentum, don’t be surprised when it lands on the iTunes charts.

But let’s give credit where it’s due. The genius behind this killer production is ChevoBeatz. Born Cheville Neilesh Samoedj in the Netherlands to Indian grandparents from Bihar, Calcutta, and Gujarat, ChevoBeatz brings a world of culture into his sound. His Surinamese roots give him a unique Caribbean flavor, and he knows exactly how to blend that with modern beats to create something unforgettable.

He first picked up an acoustic guitar when he was just five years old, a gift from his dad, Sudesh Kumar, who you might know as “Bonniac SK” on YouTube. His dad led a local band, and ChevoBeatz quickly traded his six strings for the deeper groove of a bass guitar, playing alongside him. Fast forward to today, and he’s not just a talented musician but a full-blown music producer with his own label, ChevoProductions. He’s mastered Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), and his talent spans across genres—from reggae and dancehall to hip-hop, Caribbean, Bollywood, West-Indian Soca, and even chutney.

And ‘Time’s Dread’ is just the latest example of his fearless approach to music. The lyrics dig deep into social issues like corruption, systemic injustice, and media manipulation. And it’s hitting home for a lot of people. ChevoBeatz knew exactly what he was doing when he teamed up with FyaVerse again. They’re a dynamic duo with a knack for making music that matters. Their last hit, ‘Shatta Gyal,’ took them all the way to the top of Argentina’s Billboard charts, and ‘Time’s Dread’ is already following in its footsteps, gaining traction all over Europe.

Add to that, he’s got even bigger plans on the way. He’s currently working on a new project with Chuma Africa, one of Kenya’s top artists. These two have already teamed up on tracks like ‘Naiwe’ and ‘Bamba,’ which were straight-up fire. And he’s not stopping there. ChevoBeatz is also set to work with Ghanaian singer-songwriter JahPlaka, whose song ‘Solitude’ went viral on TikTok.

With ‘Time’s Dread’ taking off and these new projects in the pipeline, ChevoBeatz is showing no signs of slowing down. He’s got a smart promotional strategy, from social media campaigns to strategic playlist placements on Spotify and Apple Music. He’s also planning live performances and virtual events to keep fans engaged and excited.

If you haven’t already, go stream ‘Time’s Dread’ on all major platforms!
