The Oakland Raiders are hosting the Denver Broncos in week 9 NFL action on Sunday Night Football. All the information to tune into this game is listed below.

When the Denver Broncos travel to Oakland, California to take on the Oakland Raiders it could be a game for the ages. This is a rivalry that is one of the longest running rivalries in football. Sunday is for first place in the AFC West division. Here are 3 keys for the Broncos to pull off the victory.

Keep Kalil Mack off Trevor Siemian

The Denver Broncos have had trouble in multiple games this season against speed rushers. That is exactly what Kalil Mack is, a speed rusher. Last year Mack, in a game against Denver, had 5 sacks. In order for the Broncos offense to have any success on Sunday Night, they will need to keep Kalil Mack on his side of the ball. They can do this by chipping the running back or keeping the TE in to block. If they can get their running game off the ground early that will also help. The Broncos are going to have to be creative to the speed off their O-line.

Pressure Derek Carr

Derek Carr is playing exceptionally well to start the 2016 season. The Denver Broncos defense has played very well as well. They may have a couple of hiccups against the Atlanta Falcons and San Diego Chargers but they have recovered nicely in recent weeks. With Carr being still on the younger side, the Broncos could fluster him with setting pressure. This will also help keep the speed of Raiders WR Amari Cooper at bay as well. With reports that the Broncos will be without CB Aqib Talib again this week, any little bit will help.

Attack Oakland’s secondary

The Oakland Raiders struggled last week against the likes of Mike Evans and the rest of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The receivers of the Denver Broncos are better than that crew. Gary Kubiak and the Broncos offense needs to attack the Raiders secondary. The Raiders are ranked 27 in pass defense. If the Broncos are able to keep Siemian upright then they should be able to have a solid game in the air against the Raiders defense.
