It is week 3 of the NFL season, and this will be the first look at the Denver Broncos on the road. The first two weeks saw the Broncos and their new quarterback play host, with the team defeating the Indianapolis Colts by the score of 34-20 last week. But this week the team will be in Ohio, taking on the 1-1 Cincinnati Bengals. Last week the Bengals suffered a loss at the hand of AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Broncos are known for their defense. Trevor Siemian has proven to be more of a game manager, as the team has relied heavily on the running game and the performance of CJ Anderson through the first two weeks. With this being the team’s first road game, this will surely be a major test for the offense. Even if the offense cannot generate much, Von Miller and the defense will surely keep the club in the thick of things.

The Bengals will surely benefit from facing a team that is not being manned by Ben Roethlisberger. The team is surely talented, but simply could not hang with Big Ben. This game will be more in the wheelhouse of the Bengals playing style. It should be a ground and pound type of game, with the team that can come up with the big defensive stops the team that comes out on top. Andy Dalton and the Bengals have more offensive weapons, but they will also be going against a more talented defense. So how will things offset?

I have learned the Bengals are simply hard to trust. So as the favorites, even at home, I cannot trust them here. The Broncos defense will be after Dalton all day, and he is going to need some serious help from Gio Bernard and AJ Green for the Bengals to stick in there. But Miller and the defense will be too much, with CJ Anderson providing enough offense for the Broncos to pull off the upset on the road.
