When Manchester City triumphed and won the Premier League this year, many people have already called Pep Guardiola’s team the main favorite of the future campaign. But the EPL is wonderful exactly because it brings a lot of unexpected results and it’s quite difficult to hold the top line.

The new campaign will bring quite a serious tournament intrigue. Six clubs will compete for the champion title are Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United

Any team can really impress its fans. That’s why the Premier League is called the strongest championship in the world. Each of these teams has good players and can easily leave all the competitors behind if they have luck. Besides, now it’s quite difficult to get points even with average teams in the EPL.

There are the best players and record transfers. It’s possible that exactly this summer we’ll see some resonance transfers. It should be noted that this year the transfer campaign will end a little earlier, in the first half of August. So, teams’ squads will be formed completely by the beginning of the championship.

Of course, millions of football fans are looking forward to the beginning of the championship to see whether Manchester City will leave no room for its rivals for the second time in a row. The match score of the Citizens always delighted with its effectiveness in the previous season.

This is now surprising, as the club’s team includes Aguero, Jesus, Sterling, De Bruyne, David Silva—and the recently inked Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City. Each of them can decide the fate of the championship alone.

Other clubs are trying to challenge Guardiola’s team and team’s resources and potential let do this. For example, this can be its neighbors from Manchester United who have already carried out several transfers. In particular, Fred from Donetsk Shakhtar. Liverpool bought former AS Monaco midfielder, Fabinho and strengthened its half-way line significantly. That’s why we can boldly say that the level of the league has risen in general.

It’s also interesting how the new players will show themselves, especially Fulham headed by Ryan Sessegnon. This team entered the Premier League after the prolonged absence and now isn’t going to back down. So, the 2018/19 season can bring a lot of intrigues and we’ll know the answers to all the questions already in the near future.
